7 DAY UGANDA SAFARI, GORILLA TRACKING & GAME VIEWING
The 7 days tour takes you to Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park southwestern of Uganda. You will also have a chance to visit Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking, and wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
SAFARI HIGHLIGHT
Day 1: Arrival to Kampala
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park and nature walk in the afternoon
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 4: Wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
Day 7: Return to Kampala
DAY 1
ARRIVAL TO KAMPALA
You will be picked and driven up to Kampala from the airport or your resident outside town.
DAY 2
TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning we set off to Kibale National Park via the papyrus swamp and the dense forest of the Nile River Delta to Kibale National Park. You will check in at the lounge reserved for you. An afternoon guided nature walk along the Crater Lake at the park for cultural visit would be of great experience.
Day 3
CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After a briefing, you will be grouped into 7 people and assigned a chimpanzee community to visit. Trekking to see chimps last between 2 to 5 hours depending on weather, speed, location, among others. In the evening we visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife viewing and exploration. Dinner and overnight stay at reserved lounge.
DAY 4
WILDLIFE VIEWING IN THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON LAUNCH CRUISE
A morning game drive along Kasenyi sector. In the afternoon, we go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel to look out for most of the hippos, crocodiles and aquatic bird species. Afternoon, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5
TRANSFER FROM QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Early in the morning, we drive you through Ishasha sector connecting to Bwindi Forest through Kanungu. Dinner and night stay at gorilla forest camp.
DAY 6
GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
After a morning briefing, we procced to a trek and enjoy their human like characters and enjoy this lifetime experience. Later on, visit batwa communities for a cultural performance Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Homestead or Community Bandas, Mantana Tented Camp, Silverback Lodge and others.
Day 7
Transfer back to Kampala
Following breakfast early in the morning, you set off to Kampala or Entebbe and you will have lunch along the way.
