Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Detailed itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Early morning our transportation team drive you westwards to Lake Mburo National Parkn on a 4-5 hours’ drive. We shall pass via Masaka-Mbarara route then arrive at Lake Mburo National Park. We make a stopover at Equator for photography and then proceed to the park. On reaching the park, later in the evening we go on an evening game drive which offers an astonishing sight of lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, birds, antelopes, buffaloes and others.

Day 2

Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning you will be transferred to Bwindi National Park which is in southwestern Uganda. Arrive early enough to check in at your lodge to have rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking and Batwa community walk

We start with a Gorilla treks in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park starting from either Ruhija, Buhoma, Nkuringo or Rushaga gorilla trekking region. In groups of 8 visitors and one park ranger we take you through your expedition of about 2-6 hours. Later, you will get back to the lodge to relax and take a walk to Batwa community to learn their ways of life.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is Uganda’s second largest park and a home to various families of cats including tree climbing lions. Later on you will have a game drive via Kasenyi track which gets you amazing views of other wildlife species such as buffaloes, birds, leopards, elephants, antelopes and others.

Day 5

Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise

In the morning you will have a 2-3-hour drive via Kasenyi track on game drive where you will find antelopes, lions, bush elephants, buffaloes, leopards, birds and others. Later on you will get back to have lunch and rest then in the afternoon. You can have launch cruise via Kazinga channel while you get a chance to see hippos, crocodiles and water birds.

Day 6

Morning game drive and drive to Kibale National Park

First thing in the morning go for 2-3 hours game drive and also explore the baboon cliffs. Later, drive to Kibale National Park for more adventure.

Day 7

Chimpanzee tracking and Guided nature walk

Begin your 3-4 hours primate adventure for chimpanzees, having found them you have one hour with them, explore how they behave and body gestures. After you will return to have lunch and in the afternoon, you will have guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland and explore a variety of primates including, grey checked mangabeys, bush babies and many bird species.

Day 8

Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe

Enjoy your breakfast and after, check out from your lodge ready to make the return trip to Kampala or Entebbe.
