Detailed itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe Airport’

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet our driver guide who will welcome and receive you and then drive you to hotel in Kampala.

Day 2

Transfer to Ziwa for rhino tracking

Early morning, we will drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. After, drive to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls.

​

Day 3

Game drives and launch trip at Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning, we take you for a 3-hour drive to the northern section of Murchison Falls National Park where you will view variety of wildlife species including leopards, birds, giraffes, lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes among others. Later in the afternoon, you will have a launch trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls and along the way expect to see hippos, crocodiles, water birds and other wildlife species.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale National Park

First thing in the morning after breakfast, we brief you on the tour and then drive to Kibale National Park. This is about 7 hours’ drive but comes with magnificent landscapes.

Day 5

Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park

Early morning, we gather at Kanyanchu Visitor Center for briefing on the guidelines for chimpanzee tracking. This will take about 3 hours which also covers one hour of magical encounter. Along the way, you will also spot out other primate species including vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed monkeys, as well as birds, butterflies and others. Later after mid-day you will take part in guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland where you will lookout for primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons, among others.

Day 6

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Having had breakfast at the lodge in Kibale National Park, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is about 3 hours’ drive and enjoy the wonderful views of the crater lakes and the stunning Rwenzori Mountain ranges. From there, take a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel which will offer you a chance to see an amazing sight at hippos, crocodiles, water birds and many other wildlife species.

Day 7

Game viewing along Kasenyi track and drive to Ishasha area

Early morning, we set off for a 2-3-hour game drive along Kasenyi track where you will catch sight at variety of savanna wildlife species including African bush buffaloes, leopards, elephants, lions, birds and many antelopes.

Day 8

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where a section of mountain gorillas thrives. Later you will have lunch at Savanna Resort and then proceed to Bwindi National Park.

Day 9

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning you will kick off with your primate adventure to search for the gorilla family that will be assigned to you. This primate adventure can take you 2-6 hours which also includes the one hour of exploring how these great apes behave, take photos and later you will pay a visit to Batwa community for you to learn the unique lifestyles, cultures and traditions of Batwa pygmies.

Day 10

Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

After your delicious breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then connect to Lake Bunyonyi which consists of 29 scenic islands. This is one of the biggest homes for bird species in the region.

Day 11

Explore the islands of Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will go on board on canoe ride to some of the 29 islands that are dotted in and around Lake Bunyonyi. Most importantly, pay a visit to the punishment island and in addition, you will identify some of the exclusive bird species.

Day 12

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

You will have breakfast in the morning and later, drive to Lake Mburo National Parkand enjoy the stunning landscape, plantations and farmlands. You will have lunch at Agip Hotel. From here you will link to Lake Mburo National Park to check in at your lodge and in the afternoon, you have a boat cruise via Lake Mburo which gets you amazing sights at hippos, crocodiles and bird species.

Day 13

Drive to Kampala

Early morning prepares for a road trip to Kampala. Make a stopover at Equator for photography and then continue to Jinja.

​

Day 14

Explore the mighty source of the Nile

Start on white water rafting along the Nile River and get involved in other activities such as bungee jumping, kayaking, jet boating, boat cruise and many others

​

Day 15

Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe

Finally, you will drive back to Kampala/Entebbe.
