BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONALPARK
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is set suitably in southwestern Uganda about 9 hours’ drive from Entebbe or Kampala capital city. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years. It is a home to about 50% of all the mountain gorillas that today account for over 1000 individuals on worldwide. Gorilla treks in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park always start from anyone of the 4 major gorilla trekking regions; Ruhija, Buhoma, Nkuringo and Rushaga and these areas consists of habituated families all with unique story to share with the world.
